When Will My Order Arrive?

Orders are processed and shipped 24-48 hours after they are received. We ship orders on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays for 2-Day Service. Overnight Service orders ship Monday-Thursday. Orders placed on the website and purchased with a credit card by 9 am PST are generally processed and shipped by 5 pm the following day. Following is a summary of when you can expect delivery for credit card orders.

How Will My Order Be Delivered?

Due to the fragile and temperature-sensitive nature of our products, we ship via Federal Express Overnight or 2-Day Service for reliable, trackable, and timely delivery. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email and the tracking number.

**Important** We recommend that you provide a shipping address at which someone will be available to receive the package as a signature is required. Gateau et Ganache is not responsible for incorrect or undeliverable addresses, or deliveries to addresses with signature waivers on file. We do not deliver to PO boxes.

Why is a Signature Required When My Order is Delivered?

The signature requirement helps to ensure that the package arrives safely at the correct address. It protects your purchase from damage, melting, and theft.

If no one will be available during the day to receive the package, we can ship to an alternate address, such as a work address. If you'd like to change the shipping address after your order has been placed, please provide the new address information before 12pm on the ship date listed on your order confirmation/invoice. Address changes after this time will incur an additional charge of $10.

What is "Warm Weather Shipping" and When is it in Effect?

When temperatures are above 70F at the shipping origin or destination, we use warm-weather packaging and, in some cases, Overnight Shipping to ensure that your order arrives in excellent condition. We pack your order with insulating material and include reusable "cold packs" to keep the contents of the shipping box cool throughout its journey. The additional insulating material and cold packs do increase the shipping weight of your order, and as a result, shipping costs will be higher. If necessary, we will contact you to confirm weather conditions and the use of Overnight Shipping.

Generally, cool weather ("Winter") shipping is in effect November 1-April 15. Warm weather shipping dates are approximately April 15-October 31; however, we will post updates on our homepage as necessary.
